Traysee J Leonard known as the "The Sax Therapist" is a self-taught saxophonist from the far Southside of Chicago. Traysee became involved in music at an early age, singing and playing saxophone at church and in school. The moment he picked up the sax, the two were inseparable! "Melodies, I always enjoyed the melodies....there's nothing like a beautiful melody!" he goes on to say. Traysee played at church from the very beginning and never gave up his love for inspirational and gospel music. 
Early in his life Traysee became involved with cocaine and for over thirty years suffered with a serious addiction. Today he has been cocaine & crack free for over many years. Traysee says, "My ambition is to encourage individuals and families struggling with addiction and sharing God's gift of music all around the world!" 
Traysee's had the honor of playing and recording with Dottie Peoples for 5 years and served as her road manager. He's also played with Jeanne Carne, Pharis Evans Jr. & Saints with a Vision, Bryant Jones & Chosen, Gerald Thompson and a host of others. He's been on stage with Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Shirley Caesar, Donald Lawrence and John P. Key to name a few. He particularly loves playing gospel, smooth jazz and oldies like Natalie Cole, Chaka Kahn, Chi-lites, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Elvis! 

In 2010 Traysee started his own radio show on WYCA Rejoice 102.3 in Chicago "Sax Therapy for your Mind, Body & Soul!" He has been performing as a street performer, solo artist and sideman around Chicago and nationally for many years. Traysee can be heard on the streets, in the subway and airports of Chicago. "Sax Therapy for Your Mind, Body & Soul" is a way of life and can be heard by connecting to the link on the homepage. The show features original smooth jazz and inspiration from "The Sax Therapist" and other up and coming artists. Traysee says" More than anything I want to be the man that GOD would have me to be and to help our world be a better place!'
